AMETEK is proud of its longstanding partnership with the United Way, which spans several decades. Many of our businesses across the United States and globally hold annual office-wide fundraisers and volunteer days to support the United Way’s mission to end poverty.

The United Way is dedicated to building stronger, more resilient communities around the world where everyone can thrive. It does this by connecting partners, donors, volunteers, and community leaders to tackle the root causes of the world’s most complex challenges while making a positive impact in the lives of millions of people.

This mission aligns closely with the AMETEK Foundation’s focus on community wellbeing as well as our company’s Core Values. AMETEK’s Core Values of social responsibility, respect for the individual, teamwork, diversity and inclusion, and teamwork are at the heart of our community engagement. We collaboratively work together to make the world a better place.

Every year, many of our offices rally together for week-long United Way donation drives that revolve around team building activities and a variety of United Way sponsored volunteer events including school supply drives, holiday food drives, book drives, and Day of Caring volunteer projects.

Last year, AMETEK’s Corporate Office was in the top 4% of all campaigns for the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, and its increases in employee participation and average gift sizes were in the double digits.
